RMNP Ski Tour
Rocky Mountain National Park offers up terrain for all skiers and splitboarders, including mellow glades, open bowls, steep couloirs and lofty summits. Each week, your guide will select a tour that’s appropriate for the group’s skill and current conditions. During the RMNP Ski Tour you will experience a full day of beautiful scenery, great company, and classic ski touring. We recommend taking the Intro to Backcountry Skiing course before attending this course, or have previous touring experience.
Fresh off your AIARE course? This is the perfect way to get out with other riders local to the area and see some new terrain. Popular tours include Flattop Glades and Banana Bowl, Tyndall Gorge and Dragontail, Hidden Valley, and Chaos Canyon.
If you’re motivated to avoid Sunday I-70 ski traffic, get some exercise with a great group of folks, and ski some fresh snow, this tour is for you.
This outing is geared towards those with some backcountry touring experience. You should be familiar with all aspects of your touring equipment and able to ski/ride comfortably in a variety of terrain and conditions.
