Guide Gear Review: Julbo Universe Goggles

For me, skiing the high country of Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado requires having great eye protection due to the nature of the extreme elements that I travel and ski in. The Julbo Universe category 2-4 has become my go to goggle to wear in high elevation skiing for many reasons.  The photochromic lenses allow me to keep this goggle on without changing to another darker pair. This keeps my alpine skiing pack weighing less without the extra goggles that I do not need. The photochromic lenses change rather quickly from light to darkening conditions when skiing shaded into sunny slopes. The Universe allows me to maximize my vision for when the light changes and gives me the best optics at the time when I need my vision the most. The large minimal frame allows for maximizing my view out the lens while riding in comfort and style.  The large frame also allows for for a tight fit when wearing my helmet.Julbo Universe
