Bruce Hodgkins grew up in Maine and moved to Boulder to attend the University of Colorado. He was afflicted by the Arapahoe curse and never left. He has been climbing, skiing and adventure traveling over the past 40 years during a successful entrepreneurial career in the bicycle business while raising two wonderful daughters with his wife of 34 years.

Bruce’s greatest passions are teaching and passing on mountain craft skills to his guests and students. He loves to facilitate lifetime memorable experiences in the mountains while managing risk. Being immersed in nature and in the grandeur of the mountains with his guests and friends is his happy place. His philosophy is to enjoy every moment, and to be a supportive and positive adventure partner while seeking new challenges.

Bruce started training with the American Mountain Guide Association and professionally guiding in 2015. He is an AMGA Certified Rock Instructor, an AIARE Avalanche Course Instructor and an AMGA Apprentice Alpine and Ski guide.
