Dylan Reed

Dylan Reed has always had the mountains in his heart. As such, growing up in Houston, Texas always made his early forays into the alpine just a bit further away than most. After achieving a B.S. in Economics from Texas A&M university, he decided to put that degree to “work”, and begin a guiding career in the Arkansas River Valley in Colorado.

From then on, work and play has taken him to areas all around the American West and across the world, including Mexico, Thailand, and extensive climbing at Devil’s Tower, the Black Hills of South Dakota, and the Tetons in Jackson, WY.

An AMGA Rock Guide, Dylan enjoys putting his training and expertise to work spreading mountain craft to his clients everywhere, continually trying to promote the endless benefits of a life spent outside. He feels just as content high up on the North Face of the Grand Teton as he does watching the sun fall behind Mt. Meeker on the deck of his home in Allenspark, CO with his wife, and two dogs.
