“I grew up climbing, skiing, and learning in Colorado’s southern San Juan Mountains. My parents dragged me up my first 14er when I was 6 years old; I may have summited the peak on my dad’s back with my mom’s strong encouragement, but I still count it!
Now that my stride is a bit longer than when I was 6, I prefer to put in the effort and summit in better form. After moving to Boulder in search of a higher education, I fell in love with weeknight cragging in Eldo, couloir skiing in Rocky Mountain National Park, and especially sharing these experiences with others!
From my own experiences I understand that climbing is rewarding on so many different levels. Whether it’s the physical challenge, the natural beauty, or just the simple fun and joy, its always a memory waiting to be made. Give the CMS office a call and find out what the mountains have to offer you!”
