Scarpa Gea RS – Women’s Ski Touring Boots

If you enjoy touring in the backcountry and want to charge downhill, the Scarpa Gea RS – women’s touring boots are for you.  I have worn these for long days of touring as well as off piste skiing with long descents.  They can drive my ski well on various conditions.

I’ve used these on glaciers in Canada, powder in Japan and a lot of local peaks in Colorado!  They come with the comfortable, moldable intuition liner.

I use two different intuition liners depending on the type of skiing I am doing on a particular day.  The boots come with Intuition Pro Flex RS liner.  This is great for touring.  I suggest switching to Precision High Liner for when you are resort skiing or going out of bounds.  The Precision High Liner is a wrap design that gives slightly more stiffness for downhill performance.  You do not need to buy two different boots for two completely different purposes.  Gea RS with one extra liner can do the job.  Thanks, Scarpa for these amazing boots!
