Our climber’s lodge is located at 341 Moraine Ave in downtown Estes Park, gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park and a lifetime of great climbing and skiing.  We have shuttles running from our doorstep to and from Denver International Airport daily.  Visit Estes Park Shuttle for more information.

Our Lodge carries historical significance as the first National Park Service headquarters for RMNP, although the facility has been renovated several times including a major facelift to the main floor in late 2010 so you can fully enjoy your stay.  Our heated bunkhouse is upstairs from our classroom and features 16 single beds in three rooms, as well as several bathrooms, hot showers, linens, a full kitchen, wifi, and a lounge with games and a ping-pong table. Spend your evening socializing with fellow climbers, and enjoy waking up in the morning with no long drive. Located only blocks from downtown Estes, you can easily walk to almost any place in town. Enjoy a hot shower and a warm, comfortable bed after a big day of climbing or skiing.  Swap stories and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow outdoor enthusiasts as you cook dinner, sort gear and prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Great place to stay for Estes Park for those that just need to rest of a day of hiking, biking, rock climbing, or what ever your activity is for the day(s).

Josh was very responsive to any questions I had (typically answered within an hour). This was my first time staying in a hostel and I would highly recommend it. Check in was extremely easy, everything was very clean and easy to find. Location is great. Easy access to down town Estes Park and walking distance to the Barrel bar.

This is a great place for travelers who intend to hike in Rocky Mountain National park or surrounding areas. It’s only a 5 min drive from the park entrance. It’s walking distance to the restaurants and shops in Estes Park.

This hostel was exactly what I needed! A warm bed as I decided to pack up camp because of the cold weather. I had to check in after hours, which I had a little confusion with but Troy was so easy to get in contact with and got me inside immediately. Place is clean, warm, and right in town! If I ever make it back out there I’d stay again!

“Hostel is conveniently located in Estes Park close to stores, restaurants, and best of all Rocky Mountain National Park! Check in was made easy. I was greeted by Russell and he gave me tips on things to do and where to eat. There are two entrances: one leading to the communal area and the other leading straight to the bunks. The kitchen area is supplied with everything you will need from bottle opener to cooking tools. The couches were very comfortable to lounge around and read a book or talk to other fellow guests. The showers were very clean and well supplied. The sleeping area had plenty of bunks and was kept nice and warm during the cold nights. I will definitely come back and stay here for future adventures. Thank you Russell and Josh!”

“A great friendly atmosphere with adults that were there taking classes. I was doing hikes at extremely odd hours and everyone here wanted to help ensure that I didn’t bite off more than I could chew with my hikes. I honestly can’t wait to go back to Estes Park again! A donut place across the street, a winery across the street, a brewery, and EVERYTHING you could want in Estes is in walking distance. Thank you for making my vacation that much more awesome!”

The space is great! Everything is clean and easy to navigate. A pillow, a blanket, a sheet, and a towel are all provided. Showers are clean and a bar of soap is provided. I was here in the off season, so I basically had the place to myself. If you have an option, avoid bed #7, it’s manageable but also up against the roof of the house!! Overall great stay and great location in downtown Estes Park. February 2019
