Enjoy the comfort of our beautiful new Seven Utes Yurt situated in wild Cameron Pass.  Cameron Pass is located in State Forest State Park (SFSP) accessible by driving roughly 100 miles northwest of Boulder, 130 miles northwest of Denver, 70 miles west of Fort Collins, and 85 miles east of Steamboat Springs.

Seven Utes Yurt is located at an elevation of 9400’ directly off State Highway 14, next to the Michigan River. The turn off is approximately 4 miles west of the Cameron Pass Summit and 6 miles east from the small town of Gould. Those coming from Denver, Boulder, and Fort Collins will likely drive through the scenic Poudre Canyon. Drive times typically take two hours from Fort Collins and approximately three hours from Boulder and Denver. State Highway 14 is paved, well-maintained, and accessible all year. The drive through the Poudre Canyon offers stunning scenery, exceptional rock climbing walls, hiking, camping, and fly fishing opportunities.

Getting There

The yurt is located at the Seven Utes parking lot on SFSP, at mile marker 61 off Highway 14. This is a large parking lot which is well-plowed during the winter months. There is a gate in the southeast corner of the parking lot and the yurt is 100 meters past the gate, if that. You can see the yurt through some trees from the parking lot.
